Robert Pattinson: Star of Twilight, the Movie Based on the Stephenie Meyer Book Saga

By now the name Robert Pattinson has become household; synonymous with Edward, star of the movie Twilight, adapted from Stephenie Meyer's book of the same name.

You may also be familiar with the name, Robert Pattinson from his role as Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter film, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." Yes, he was the unfortunate sole that lost his life in the maze.

But, here are a few things about the English actor, model and musician that you may not have known:

Robert Thomas-Pattinson was born 13 May 1986 ( Let's see, that makes him a Taurus!)

Rob's height is 6' 1" (hmmm, I didn't think he was THAT tall!)

Rob has two older sisters, Lizzy (25) and Victoria (27), who used to dress him up like a girl and introduce him as 'Claudia'! (I figured him for an only child. Now, I bet he wish he HAD been one!)

Rob was taught how to scuba dive for his role in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005). (Did he even use that skill in the movie?)

Rob won the role of Edward by beating out 3,000! (or 5,000, or 10,000) other auditioners (I heard the auditioning kiss scene with Kristen Steward is what did it!)

Jack Nicholson is Rob's inspiration and the actor he aspires to be like. ( Couldn't he have picked someone a little more attractive?)

Rob has been playing the piano since he was three or four. (Man! He's GOT to be tired by now!)
