Robert Shapiro Jumps Off Lindsay Lohan's Tracks, Who's Jumping on This Next Train Wreck?

Robert Shapiro scores a get out of Lindsay free card as today we find out what lawyer will throw themselves on the tracks of Lohan's train wreck. Three corners fill this ring - Robert Shapiro, Shawn Chapman Holley and the not yet discovered late arriving B-rated lawyer. This very well may be a Shapiro tactic through a fill-in or to keep the media on their toes.

But if not Shapiro, why?

TMZ reports, according to Shapiro's logic, it's his way or the highway. He wants Lohan to go to jail and do what she's told. Shapiro stated he is "all too familiar" with the "disease" she suffers from. The statement takes us back to his own son. Which "disease" is Shapiro most familiar with?

The Brent Shapiro Foundation was created after Robert Shapiro's son died. A USC student who made the dean's list and was preparing for marriage. Brent E. Shapiro died of a drug overdose on October 10, 2005. He became ill and was found the next morning at 7 a.m. in a comatose state. Paramedics rushed him to Cedars-Sinai Hospital. Time and day of death was 4:30 p.m. on a Monday.

On CNN's Larry King Live Shapiro shared concerns about the growing epidemic of "drug disease" mixed in with "alcohol disease". He added that according to Dr. Lacksmaman his son took two shots of Jagermeister and others confirmed that he was drinking. Ultimately Brent Shapiro died of a heart attack, triggered by the spiral chain of Ecstasy. And this is where the ball drops on Lindsay Lohan's head.

Lohan, while in Cannes partying like a porn star, used every storyline excuse to ditch her past court hearing, including the can't-find-my-passport 24-hour mini series. But as the Cannes photos would surface Lindsay Lohan was spotted in a questionable situation - the white powder lines on the table in the background. You have to thank TMZ for that sweet slice of reality! The photos were taken, from what we gather, in May or this year - only two months ago.

Expect someone to yell with eyeliner and mascara running down their face, "leave Lindsay alone!"

Shapiro means business. Why did Anna Nicole Smith die? The same reason she had her face painted like a distorted version of Heath Ledger's The Joker while prancing around her daughter Dannielynn making little to no sense at all - drugs overdosed Anna (DOA). Shapiro is not going to let Linsday allow her addictions control her under his watch, if he could help it. And that's the final key, If anyone can help Lohan it's only going to be herself. The first Lindsay Lohan true addiction battle begins tomorrow when she is forced to remain in a single cell rehab.

So while Dina, Lindsay's "momanager", tried to use Lindsay's fear of being closed in to push for her daughter's freedom and Michael Lohan tried to question Shapiro's lack for fighting for an appeal to have her prison term out of the question. The only one that seems to be doing the right thing after all, is Shapiro.

Into the circle we come out with a lasting thought. Is it possible that Lindsay Lohan has such a drug problem that she tried to catch a buzz while in his founded sober living house - but Shapiro found out? Or is she just having cold feet, and withdrawals - literally - making Shapiro nervous if she'll show up at all? Alas the last option, a fill-in.

Meanwhile...back in the porno shack, Inferno is scheduled to begin filming during fall. But the 1970's Linda Lovelace story surrounding the national well known porn flick Deep Throat is going to have to wait - until their star straightens out her own act. Lohan broke probation and will turn herself over to authorities today.

As for Robert Shapiro, he may or not be in court today.
