Robert Wagner and Bruce Boxleitner Guest Star on "NCIS's" Episode "Broken Arrow"

Robert Wagner and Bruce Boxleitner both appeared on last night's "NCIS" episode "Broken Arrow." If you saw John Travolta's movie "Broken Arrow," then you know the basics of the plot. A "Broken Arrow" is a term that refers to an unaccounted for nuclear weapon.

Robert Wagner appeared last season as Tony DiNozzo's wayward father in "Flesh and Bone." In "Broken Arrow," Robert Wagner reprises that same role. It was a treat to see the interaction between the estranged father and son. Both Robert Wagner and Michael Weatherly deserve kudos for their wonderful performances.

Bruce Boxleitner appears as Admiral Chase, and he once again dons a uniform as he did in the series "Babylon 5." Admiral Chase was to meet his friend, Retired Navy Commander Woody Iverson, but instead of finding his friend, he finds his friend's body in a dumpster.

Enter the NCIS team to investigate the murder. Tony DiNozzo is not in the best of moods. It seems his father tried to contact him at 4:30 in the morning. That means his wayward father needed something. However, things take an interesting turn when the NCIS team discovers that Woody Iverson arrived in a small plane with three other passengers from overseas. Take a guess at who the fourth passenger was-Anthony DiNozzo, Senior. Now the son must catch up with his father who was the last person to see Woody Iverson alive.

When Leroy Jethro Gibbs enlists Anthony DiNozzo Senior's aide to infiltrate an invitation only summit, it is all Tony Jr can do to keep himself together.

When a series such as NCIS has guest stars in the caliber of Bruce Boxleitner and Robert Wagner in the same episode, you know you are in for a treat. The entire production team of NCIS, including the writers, directors and actors provide us with great entertainment and wonderful puzzles to solve. This is truly what good entertainment is all about.
