Dress Up in Fun Robin Hood or Friar Tuck Costumes for Halloween 2010

The new Russell Crowe action movie "Robin Hood" is set to premiere on May 14, 2010. If you are a big fan of either Russell Crowe or Robin Hood, then you will likely want to see this film.

There will be lots of summer blockbuster movies in 2010 but one will be distinctly two-dimensional in that you will not see super-tall fictional blue avatar creatures fighting each other. Russell Crowe takes on one of the most legendary figures of all time in the 2010 updated film version of "Robin Hood."

This new "Robin Hood" is unlikely to be anything like the Kevin Costner version of about 20 years ago, the one "Robin Hood" version that was fun and entertaining and never too serious. Today's Robin Hood character is likely to be a bit darker, especially with acting stalwart Crowe taking on the Robin Hood identity.

If you want to know more about this new "Robin Hood," there are plenty of informative Web sites out there for you. First, check out Wikipedia's page on this film at this link. Also, you can bet that IMDb has an excellent collection of data about the flick at this Web page.

Lastly, you can always go directly to the movie's official Web site and watch the trailer at this site. The movie is set to premiere on May 14, 2010.

All of these characters are interesting and memorable, of course, not just the most famous one of all, Robin Hood.

Great article. I actually liked the costumes in Costner's Robin Hood. It will be interesting to see this new version. :)

Some friends of mine live close to the set where a lot of the movie was filmed. They were able to tour and took some great photographs there. No characters though.
