Robotic Mower: To Mow, or Mow Robo?

Enlightened
Do you look forward to mowing the lawn every weekend? I definitely despise it. I have terrible allergies, and I can think of much better ways to spend that weekend afternoon. Xbox, eating, or some kind of fun exercise. Great news is on the horizon for those of us that are suffering from allergies or just plain lazy, the SmartMow is a lawn mowing robot, and needs little to no intervention to mow the lawn completely!

The SmartMow is not as cheap as your normal lawn mower. About $750, but you can forget about mowing during the weekends entirely.

SmartMow is a low-cost solution and environmentally sound device for mowing the lawn. The grass chomping bot works similar to electric pet boundaries with a perimeter wire. The mower first outlines the boundary made by the wire and makes its way back to the home unit. After configuration, the SmartMow then continues on to mow the rest of the yard.

This is the first robotic mower released in the United States with a price tag below one-thousand dollars.
