Rock Band for Playstation 3: A Review of the Video Game

This article is a review on Rock Band for play station 3. This game is the best game out for play station 3. In my opinion anyways. Rock Band is very much like playing in your own band.

This game is addicting, it will keep up till all hours of the night playing it. We bought the Rock Band edition set which includes a microphone, a guitar, and a drum set. We also went out and bought another guitar so my husband could play the bass line cause that is what he loves to do.

You can play Rock Band either in multi player mode or solo mode. With playing in either one of these modes, you can unlock songs to play and even new clothing to buy. Plus you can buy songs off of the Rock Band Server which in my opinion they have really good songs plus they even have classic songs that you always listened to on MTV.

You can buy songs on the Play station network also and they only cost $2.12 a piece or they also have packs of songs you can download for only $5.49-$20.00. Which the highest package of songs cost $20.00 which is the Who and they are a classic band as well.

There is a lot of great things you can do with Rock Band. It also get you practicing on how all those bands play the guitars and drums and singing like they do. Don't get me wrong, there are some hard songs on there to play.

There is four ways to play Rock Band. If you are a beginner you start out on easy. There is also medium, hard, and expert. Which in my families case we are only on hard right now because it is so hard to get the notes right especially on a guitar.

You can even look at the leader boards on the game to see where you rank as a band or even by yourself in solo mode. I would definitely recommend Rock Band over Guitar Hero any day. There is so much more you can do with Rock Band. Plus you can have more than one or two players playing at the same time. You can have four players playing at the same time. Two on guitar for electric guitar and bass, one on drums, and one on the microphone.

So if anybody is looking for a good family game to buy for the family I definitely recommend Rock Band. Very interactive and very good at learning as well.
