Rock N' Roll Perfume: Review

Christian Audigier has created a smell that is absolutely amazing. I'm talking of course, about Ed Hardy for Women. It's the floral Rock'n Roll fragrance that is soulful and edgy. I wear this fragrance and I am completely satisfied with how it smells when I first put it on, and even after it settles into the skin. I can describe the colors of the smell as hot pink with a touch of black, very Rock'n Roll. It has sweet notes of strawberry balanced with warm freesia middle notes. It's not your typical floral fruity scent; Audigier has made sure to add a deeper level of the fragrance.

After you have had the fragrance on for a while, the top notes begin to shy away and give center stage to some of the base notes, which include amber and leather surprisingly. These main two base notes hold down the root of the scent. You are left with a wonderful lingering smell of all the notes working harmoniously to create the perfect blend for a girl who is cute and fresh but has an edge. The girly girl part of the fragrance is found on some of the top floral fruity notes. Most people will meet you and see that sweet cute side, the strawberry and the hints of mango. Then after they get to know you, they realize you've got some edginess to you. That is the transition to the spicier notes that give the perfume that edge that can top off any day or night.

I would have to describe Ed Hardy for Women as a scent that can be worn at anytime. But I believe that some of the best times to wear it would be going out, whether it's on a "date" or out with the girls. It is such a fun fragrance that you should have fun wearing it. Places I would avoid wearing it: Opera's, Bio-Physics Science Conventions, Home Depot and Buddhist Monasteries. I actually like this scent better than Ed Hardy's Love and Luck, which stars the famous Cherry Blossom. Although Love and Luck is a pretty nice scent, I feel like Ed Hardy for Women brings out that sweet but tough side of me. So next time you are in the department store, trying to dodge the saleswomen but still look for those hidden samples of perfume, ask for Ed Hardy for Women. They should have a sample for you behind the desk. Better yet, just go out and buy it. It will be great for you or a present for someone else. If you are ready to have a little fun, get ready for some Ed Hardy.
