Rocker Ozzy Osbourne Promoting New Book 'I Am Ozzy' in NYC
Meet Hard Rocker Ozzy Osbourne at Barnes & Noble Book Signing.
New York City, NY 10163
United States of America
"I Am Ozzy" written by Osbourne with Chris Ayres is a revealing look into the rock star's life. From rock-n-roll to booze and drugs to a reality show with his wife and kids. Osbourne holds nothing back. The inside jacket of the book gives a hint of how open Osbourne is in the book. "They've said some crazy things about me over the years. I mean, okay: 'He bit the head off a bat.' Yes. 'He bit the head off a dove.' Yes. But then you hear things like, 'Ozzy went to the show last night, but he wouldn't perform until he'd killed fifteen puppies . . .' Now me, kill fifteen puppies? I love puppies. I've got eighteen of the f**king things at home. I've killed a few cows in my time, mind you. And the chickens. I shot the chickens in my house that night."
New York City's Barnes & Noble stores hold all star events each month and work hard to make the events enjoyable for the fans and entertainer. The sheer volume of fans expected at the 5th Avenue Osbourne book signing has made several restrictions necessary. According to sales staff at the store, fans should expect the following:
- Osbourne will be signing up to three copies of 'I Am Ozzy' per fan. He will not be signing any other memorabilia
- Photography will be limited to outside the store.
- All copies of 'I Am Ozzy' must be purchased before being brought to Osbourne to sign.
Barnes & Noble staff members said, 'The signing begins at 12:30 pm but plan on lines being around the block." In other words, show up as early as possible, purchase the book and then stand in line. 'I Am Ozzy' sells for $26.99. The event is free.

Post a CommentGreat article! I can't wait to read the book now! I had a similar experience When I met Ozzy in 1995. He did a signing here in St. Louis to promote his Ozzmosis album; it was the same kind of scene. More than 3,000 people showed up! Thanks for writing this!
I love Sharon and Ozzy. Besides the fact that Ozzy is one of my favorite singers, Sharon just seems like a really cool down to earth person. That and it must have taken balls of steel to put up with Ozzy all those years. ;)
