Rockin' Shoppin' Eve Black Friday at Eden Prairie Shopping Center, MN

Black Friday signals the start of the holiday shopping season for many people. You either participate in it, or you don't. Retailers hope you will come in for their advertised door-busters and spend more money on other impulse items that you see. People that like the thrill of finding a bargain price on something that they have been wanting will be setting their alarm clocks to go off early on Friday, November 23. Plasma TVs are on a lot of people's wish-lists.

MALL OPENS AT 1:00AM - EARLIEST OPENING IN THE TWIN CITIES

For people in the Minneapolis area, there is an option to getting up early! Black Friday starts at 1:00am at the Eden Prairie Center this year. The mall is pulling out all the stops to get a jump on your wallet.

According to their website www.edenprairiecenter.com the center will open at 1:00am for Rockin' Shoppin' Eve. The mall is located at 8251 Flying Cloud Drive, Eden Prairie, Minnesota, 55344.

Over 70 stores inside the Eden Prairie Center will be open. It sounds fun to go from store to store, eyeing up the store promotions, collecting goodies, some freebies, and get some of your holiday shopping done. There will be live entertainment, prize giveaways and coffee. Plus, there will be a prize drawing for three $1,000.00 shopping sprees.

Many of the stores are advertising "see store for specials" so they are not yet available for publishing. There are also food specials at the food court so you can save some money on your snack. Potbelly (absolutely the yummiest sandwiches made to order), has a promotion as does Steak Escape, among others.

Department stores in the mall are opening later - JC Penney and Kohl's open at 4:00am, Sears opens at 5:00am, and Target opens at 6:00am, Barnes & Nobles opens at 7:00am.
