Great Hoop Shooting Music
"Let's Get It Started" by Black Eyed Peas but only after you stretch to some awesome new songs by Dave Matthews Band like "You and Me" and Pearl Jam "Just Breathe". The classic "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor is a perfect basketball song for warming up.
"Jump Around" from House of Pain is a song that's all about basketball. Anyone who has played knows you jump around quite a bit.
"Shoot to Thrill" by AC|DC from AC|DC: Iron Man 2 Album out April 19, 2010 is a rocking song you can 'bounce and shoot' your ball too.
"We Are the Champions" from Queen is a great adrenaline pumping, uplifting song.
"I Want to Break Free" and "Under Pressure" are great songs by Queen that are befitting this rocking basketball song list. If you have a DJ, Break Free should be played at the moment a player steals the ball and breaks for the shot and Under Pressure during foul shots!
A rocking basketball list would be incomplete without "I'm Outstanding" by Shaquille O'Neal.
I am sure there are many great songs I have not included in my rocking basketball music playlist. It is a difficult list to compile since musical tastes vary. I love music and creating playlists for specific occasions. Feel free to add your suggestion in my comment section!
