Rocky Balboa Action Figures Are a Knockout!

First Rocky Figures that Carry a Realistic Look

Believe it or not, there have been sets of Rocky Balboa action figures released in stores across the country. These figures are based on all six of the Rocky films starring the one and only Sylvester Stallone. They are currently very hard to find at stores like Wal-Mart, Target, and Toys R Us, but if you go online, you may find awesome figures at www.ebay.com. These are not your ordinary action figures; in fact, they actually have about a twelve points of articulation! Most action figures that are sold in toy stores today have at least six points of articulation. A figure's articulation means the joints at which the figure can move (legs, wrists, arms, and head). Regardless of what set or sequel the Rocky figures are based on, they typically retail at six to eight dollars apiece.

The best sets of Rocky action figures come from the third and fourth films and they will not disappoint any Rocky enthusiast. These sets include the most infamous boxers Rocky had faced in the films such as Soviet boxer Ivan Drago. Believe it or not, this is also the first set that features Rocky Balboa wearing the USA trunks. That Rocky action figure in particular is a must have for all Rocky fans. They retail for about fourteen dollars depending on the toy store you may find them in. The qualities of these figures are impressive since they are nicely painted, but I wouldn't recommend paying more than twenty five dollars for each one.

In 2008, there was also a line of Rocky Balboa action figures that measured up to twelve inches in height. These figures have a remarkable twenty two points of articulation and come with some pretty impressive accessories such as towels, costumes, title belts and interchangeable hands. Also, they have incredibly detailed faces with realistic bodies that are identical to their cinematic counterparts. Unfortunately, they will put a beating on your wallet since they cost around $130. I highly recommend buying the six inch figures for those who have children because they are much cheaper and possibly more durable due to their molds. I don't believe anyone would feel comfortable spending over one hundred dollars on any action figure to begin with.
