Rod Stewart's 1980 Album, Foolish Behavior, is Definitely.......... NOT Foolish

Lynda Braun
Don't you dare call Rod Stewart's 1980 album, Foolish Behavior......foolish......because it is simply great!
Stewart had been absent from recording for two years, but when he returned, this album debuted on his
tour. I'll never forget the sounds of "Give Me Wings" playing as Rod stood there smiling clad in a bright pink
jacket. The crowd was so energized as the curtain went up, and the concert began. "GI' Me Wings" was not the album's biggest hit, ("Passion" was), but if you have ever seen Stewart live in concert, then you know
the rush of adreneline the crowd feels as the curtain goes up. Somehow, the opening song never leaves
your memory. This album is highly recommended for any Rod Stewart fan, of any age. It is great listening
to in the car, because the opening line of "GI' Me Wings" is "Driving in my Car". It just feels right!
The reviews of this album were very favorable with the critics. Of course, Passion, was the biggest hit on
the album, and Rod still performs that song in every live concert! Pay special attention to the beautiful
song, Somebody Special, for it is quite exceptional.

The Foolish Behavior album includes the following songs:
Better off Dead, Passion, Foolish Behavior, So Soon We Change, Oh God, I wish I was at Home Tonight,
GI' Me Wings, My Girl, She Won't Dance With Me, Somebody Special, and Say it Ain't True.
Prior to this album, Stewart was known for his hoarse, smokey, blues voice. Then, he became the romantic,
rock singer, who was a sex symbol. By 1980, Rod was able to make his debut into the world of disco music.
This album is a total blend of pop and disco sounds, but Stewart remains true to his fans with his STILL,
raspy, blues voice, along with a sexy, romantic, rock meets pop meets disco style. Today, Rod Stewart,
remains a nostalgic, romantic, rock star, who is still sexy.

Give Foolish Behavior a try. I promise not to fool you...You'll truly enjoy it!
Waiting to hear how you like the album.
