We must not forget, that half of a mans genetic code goes into making a baby. If the code that makes you you isn't your most personal and privet possession, what is? Yet for some reason women are allowed to just take that information and build this kind of half clone of a man against his will. I can't imagine too many things more intimately insulting than that, unless you turned around and demanded that he pay to support the thing you built out of him. Yet some how if she uses her uterus instead of some kind of laboratory equipment that makes it all ok. It is treated as if the whole thing was some how happening to her and totally out of her control that he "did " this to her and it's all his fault. It all goes back to gender inequity and the bigoted, asinine idea that men are supposed to be the ones in authority that we are the doers and women are the ones done unto. Only occasionally, it blows up in our faces. Actually every time thousands of men are slaughtered in wars because women aren't even allowed to get in the fight, it blows up in our stupid faces to, we just haven't caught on to that yet.
Of course the first thing women say when I argue this with them is that he "gave " them that material willingly. Huh? He what? Now, I don't know about you, but I have sex to express affection, admiration, and to have fun. If I see a woman I like and admire I 'm going to want to take her to bed and just worship her for a few hours, let her know I'm impressed with who she is and why. If she's willing, both of us have a good time and no harm done. Nowhere and no way, does this have any thing to do with me "giving " her any thing besides my adoration, that's why we use things like condoms, so we don't accidentally exchange any thing but love. After all, If I give a woman herpes is that some kind of "gift" to? A man can't control automatic functions such as ejaculation, and people sometimes get carried away and don't properly employ contraception. To suggest that squirting out sperm cells is the reason people make love or that they are the some kind of present is absurd.
Of course I am not so naive as to think we can drag every woman into an abortion clinic and force her to get and abortion when the man involved doesn't want to be used and disgraced for the rest of his life. What we can do however, is pass legislation so that a man can file a formal request for abortion with a court, than, if that request is denied, he pays nothing no child support , nothing 0 ever.
