The Rogers Little Theater performs at the Victory Theater. It was the first motion picture theater in Northwest Arkansas, opening on December 5th, 1927 and designed by an architect named A.O. Clarke. Seventy five thousand dollars was invested into the Victory Theater. It was established to promote culture and entertainment to the small, new town. After 8 decades, the Rogers Little Theater/Victory Theater stays true this concept.
The Rogers Little Theater offers an array of events and performances throughout the year. These include plays, dinner theaters, musicals, and holiday productions. It is a great place to find a piece of local theater and an enjoyable evening for the family.
The Rogers Little Theater offers a season membership. When you purchase a season membership pass you are entitled to many benefits at the Rogers Little Theater. Members can attend all six dinner theaters in addition to the summer musical for a much cheaper cost than non-members. When you subscribe to the Rogers Little Theater membership, you are given priority seating and reservations as well. You are entitled to reservation priveliges a whole week before the general public is. Your name will appear in show programs, and you will receive newsletters. Members may make one reservation for non-members at the general admission cost. They also get the perk of unlimited reservations of the summer musical.
Local actors get their chance to shine at the Rogers Little Theater. Auditions for plays and performances are held at the Rogers Little Theater. Their website has a schedule of these auditions, so local actors can get their chance to perform. Drama enthusiasts of all ages can look forward to auditioning, their are children's performances in addition to plays and musicals.
Some recent acts include A Christmas Carol, Grease, Puss in Boots and Caught in the Net.
This summer offers auditions and performances of Annie and Leading Ladies, and a Blue Jean Ball. There are summer Arts Live classes as well.
