Johnson & Johnson has recalled Rolaids® due to consumer complaints of metal and wood particles in the Rolaids. Unfortunately for Johnson & Johnson, this is just one of several recalls in recent months.

Approximately 13 million packages of Rolaids® Soft Chews are part of this Johnson & Johnson recall. McNeil Consumer Healthcare announced this as a voluntary recall. The includes all Rolaids® Extra Strength Softchews, Rolaids® Extra Strength Plus Gas Softchews as well as Rolaids® Multi-Symptom Plus Anti-Gas Softchews

Consumers complained of an abnormal taste in addition to the metal and wood particles being found in the Rolaids® Softchews that are part of this recall. Some consumers reported they were vomiting after using Rolaids® Softchews. Any adverse reactions to the recalled Rolaids® may re reported to the FDA site listed below this article.

Johnson & Johnson has had as many as 8 products recalled recently. Consumers have been advised in each instance not to use the products that had to be recalled.
