Exclusive and exquisite are just some features of the latest model of the world's most luxurious coupe. The limited production of this automobile makes it a collector's item valued and desired by many, but possessed by very few.

In 1904 Henry Royce decided to get involved in the automotive industry from the disappointment he had with his own vehicle, a Decauville. The design and high quality of his work impressed Charles Rolls, and soon thereafter a mutual agreement was established to commercialize Royce cars under one brand, The Rolls-Royce brand and in 1906 the Rolls-Royce Company was born, called Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Limited today.

The company got involved in manufacturing aircraft engines, but in 1971 this division went bankrupt, which weakened the company, being rescued in large part by contributions from Vickers. Twenty years later, this same company declared its desire to sell the Rolls-Royce.

In 1998 it became part of Volkswagen, but the supplier of engines, seats, safety equipment and electrical system was BMW, which became the new owner shortly thereafter.

For over a century the quality of the Rolls Royce has been the ultimate expression of automotive luxury in the industry, and the standards are so high that they have served as a point of reference to design the finest cars of many other car makes and styles.

In 2006 at the Geneva Motor Show, Rolls Royce study unveiled the 101EX, which appeals to the long term existence of the company and its experimental nature. Besides taking up the aesthetic values of the brand, the 101EX emphasizes the implementation of technology, which is another widely recognized quality of the Rolls-Royce brand.

The feedback across the board was so favorable that in the year 2007 Rolls Royce announced the production of as their series model, called the Phantom Coupé. With this new design many said that, the Phantom family was finally complete, along with the other series, the long wheelbase Phantom and Phantom Drophead Coupé.

This new model became the third member of the company since BMW took ownership a decade ago. Unlike other phantom models, this is driver-oriented coupe that has a real joy to handle, not only for its high level of comfort, great power and tremendous control, but also to celebrate the senses in a vehicle who is the leader in luxury, making it what Rolls Royce declares as a 'fine point of balance between activity and comfort'.

The detailed selection and use of interior materials combined with exquisite leather make this vehicle a sight to see. Fine woods of origin (zebrano, elm, mahogany, rosewood and walnut) treated with care by skilled artisans as well as chrome accents that add a touch of exclusivity. The interior, made entirely by hand, has elements like ceiling with thousands of small lights, which evoke a canopy of stars in the clearest of nights.

For specialists this car has a set a high standard, expressed by a design that denotes, class, elegance, movement, and power. Even when not moving the body evokes an elegant muscle car that inspires strength. It's almost like its fine finishes, spacious interior, balanced design and visual elements contain a hint of aggression that makes every eye turn.
