Romance

Lisa R. Strong
Walking on golden sand;
Hand in hand with my lover;
As we make our way;
To radiant aqua waves;
A refreshing fruit drink;
In a tall glass;
With a paper umbrella;
Splashing around in the tiny waves;
Not venturing out too far;
His sand castle will fall;
With the rising tide;
My camera in hand;
To take his picture;
He holds a conch shell;
His new-found treasure;
Deep inside its delicate frame;
We can hear the ocean;
Pounding hard against the shore;
A very relaxing sound;
Almost too relaxing
As the sun falls off the horizon;
And disappears from sight
