Romanian UFO Cloud, Moscow Halo Cloud: Signs of Visitors or Just Strange Cloud Formations?

A couple weeks ago, in the second week of October, a video was posted on YouTube of the Moscow Halo Cloud, an atmospheric anomaly explained away by rare meteorological conditions and sunlight. The Moscow Halo video became an internet sensation, coming as it did at about the same time as the NASA moon bombing (some mistakenly of the belief that it appeared because of the NASA moon bombing, which wasn't a bombing at all). Conspiracy theorists had a field day, especially those convinced that there was a UFO base on the dark side of the moon. Ignoring the meteorological phenomenon known as hole punch or fallstreak clouds, of which variety the Moscow Halo Cloud was assuredly a partially formed one (with reflected sunlight added), those who saw Armageddon around the corner never stopped thinking otherwise.

And then the Romanian Halo Cloud was uploaded onto the internet. CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360" highlighted both videos Monday evening.

The second video (the Romanian UFO Cloud), believed to have been first posted on October 26 on LiveLeak, was of a bright ring in the middle of a massive low-hanging cloud structure over Romania. There appears to be a cloud formation also depending from the rings center, making the entire scene resemble the stereotypical flying saucer UFO. In fact, many are calling it a "UFO cloud." But, again, meteorologists were explaining the Romanian UFO Cloud as an example of a "fallstreak hole."

"Fallstreak" or "hole punch" clouds are formed when water in a cloud formation reaches a temperature of around zero degrees without actually turning to ice. The heavier water falls, usually leaving a circular hole in the cloud. Meteorologists and other scientists are not exactly certain what causes the temperature shift and believe it may have something do with the passage of aircraft.

But scientific analyses and hypotheses aside, the lunatic fringe have put forth theories of the Second Coming to tracks left behind by propulsion systems of gigantic motherships. But by far the most involved and ingenious theory is that of a man named Ron Stewart (according to an article at AllNewsWeb.com), who is the inventor of APEP (advanced photographic extraction process), where he can take an image and increase the DPI (dots per inch) of a photograph 10,000 times its regular DPI, which is usually 150. The process enables one to see all manner of images that would not normally be seen because his process works on the theory that there was an architecture fault in the image creation that restricts the laws of physics.

Ron Cohen and Michael Nussbeck at All News Web liken the images to visions of Dante's Inferno or paintings by Hieronymous Bosch. Ron Stewart explains the images manifested in the Moscow Halo Cloud, where small black dots seem to emanate from the cloud and streak off toward the upper right corner of the video, as UFOs partially concealed by a "cloaking" device. By using APEP, Stewart was able to see the Dantean/Boschian images.

Cutting edge technology or crackpot wishful thinking? Who truly knows? But many already believe there are extra-dimensional entities all around us and would only stand affirmed in their convictions. But what about those who believe that the Moscow Halo Cloud and the Romanian UFO Cloud are simply exits on an intergalactic highway?

For those, it may be time to put down the Douglas Adams books and read something else...
