Here are some of my favorite ideas for romantic Christmas Wedding favors. Many you can make yourself and others you can simply buy, so there are ideas for every bride out there!
Romantic Christmas Wedding Favor Ideas #1: Mistle Toe
Nothing is more romantic at Christmas than Mistle Toe. You can use real Mistle toe or even buy silk Mistle toe at the local craft store. Take a little tie to research the tradition of Mistle toe and how it came about.
You can use a pen and ink pen to write this history on a small card cu tout from hand made paper. Be sure to write your wedding date on the back. Take each piece of Mistle toe and dropped it into an organza or silk bag. Use a colored ribbon in red to tie on the little notes about the history of Mistle toe!
Your wedding guests will over this one and who knows, maybe another wedding will result from this romantic Christmas wedding favor.
Romantic Christmas Wedding Favor Idea #2: Cinnamon
Cinnamon Candy is an sweet and romantic wedding favor that is sure to bring a little heat to anyone who enjoys eating sweets. You can use cinnamon flavored hard candy as a romantic wedding favor. If you have access to a great chocolate shop, then try buying truffles rolled in cinnamon. Chocolate and cinnamon pair so well together and really add a little heat to any situation!
If plenty of your winter wedding guest are coffee drinkers, then opt for a cinnamon flavored coffee. This is romantic and a European tradition. You can buy pre made cinnamon coffee or buy bottles of gourmet cinnamon. Cut out tags and give instructions on how to add it to coffee grounds when you brew the coffee. Tie the bow around the top of each bottle and your wedding guest can make their favorite coffee at home with spicy gourmet cinnamon.
Romantic Christmas Wedding Favor Idea #3: Candles
Ok, we all know candles are romantic. They also make great Christmas wedding favors. To put a Christmas twist on your candle wedding favor go for a romantic scent for winter. Evergreen is little too fresh, but that cinnamon smell would be perfect here as well.
Look for specialty scents that pop up in scented candles at Christmas. Vanilla Cranberry or Orange spice is fresh, wonderful, and can add a romantic glow to your wedding guest homes.
