1. Chemainus, B.C. This pretty town is on the eastern shore of Vancouver Island, a popular destination for couples getaways. For those who love to shop, there are handcrafted goods such as clothing, paintings and sculptures at dozens of local gift shoppes. 2. New Westminster, B.C. Just 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver by SkyTrain, this city was named by Queen Victoria for London's Westminster.
