1. If your significant other owns a cell phone, which in this day and age I am guessing she does, then it probably comes with a calendar function. This function is set to go off as a reminder to do something. Try it with your own phone. You can program an event in your calendar and the phone will ring or beep at the specified time. The night before while she is asleep, get her phone and set a message in it to go off while she is at work or away from you. Something like "Happy Valentine's Day, I Love You."
2. Leave love notes. Get out a pen and some paper. Write down how you feel about her. Write down how much she means to you. Something along the lines of "This past year has been the best of my life because I have gotten to spend it with you." I know that is cheesy, but you will come up with something better, I know it. Make sure she does not see you. Sneak out and leave it in her car some where she will see it like the dash board.
3. Leave Love Notes 2. Get some paper and tape and a sharpie. While she sleeps write down things like "I Love You." Or "You are Beautiful" and tape them up in places like the bathroom mirror, on her dresser or on the refrigerator.
4. What woman does not have a planner? Seems like everyone I know has one. Take some post it notes and leave love notes in her planner where she is likely to look on Valentines Day such as the 02/14 page or any where she may look on a daily basis.
5. Sweet text messaging, Send her a text message letting her know that you are thinking of her and can't wait to see her for dinner. Don't know how to send a text message? Grab any teenager you can find, seriously, they all know how to do it.
As you can see these are just a few ways that you can be romantic for free on Valentines Day. There are tons of other ways that I can think of, but these just happen to be my favorite because you can do them quickly, for free and it will pay off in the long run with your special someone. Stop spending money on expensive gifts, the best kinds of gifts come from the heart.

Post a CommentI completely agree that the best presents come from the heart and I don't think that throwing your money at your partner after an argument or on a special occasion is the best way to show that you love them! I have just started my own blog with some gift ideas that are either free or don't cost a lot, why not see what you think?
