Holidays are a perfect time to find ways to show the one you love how much you care about them. Be sure to purchase lingerie at least one size larger than your lover normally wears. This gift is sexy, unique, and fun. You might want to purchase several pieces of lingerie so that the photo session is that much more interesting.

Soft Jazz Disks :
This is the perfect gift to give early during the holidays. You can purchase either a CD or DVD of various jazz artists and gift it early to set the mood for the rest of the holidays. Be sure to purchase a collection of soft, smooth jazz songs. It's an inexpensive but well thought out gift that is sure to get your lover smiling and thinking. You can order music at several sites on the Internet but I'd recommend stopping at a local store and asking the owner for recommendations if you're not familiar with jazz artists.

It's easy to find scented massage oils and lotions at any department store. There's two key elements to giving this gift that will make it really romantic. First, it's very important to include a note promising a long, private massage along with the gift. Secondly, you must follow through with giving the massage without even the slightest hint of being owed one in return. As sad as that thought might make you, it's the only way this gift is going to be seen as romantic. You may luck out and get a massage but if you even hint at wanting or expecting one, you'd be better off skipping this gift idea. Gifts with expectations are never considered romantic.

Satin Bed Sets :
This gift is romantic in more than one way. It's wonderful to feel something so soft against your skin. Even better is knowing that every time your lover snuggles up in their soft satin bed, they'll be thinking of you. Bedding sets can be a bit pricey but JC Penney offers some very nice satin set sheets offered here. Be sure to buy plenty of satin pillows in all shapes and sizes to make this gift extra special.

Engraved Heart Shaped Jewelry Box :
It used to take some time and trouble to have things engraved. Now, you can shop on line and order a variety of gifts uniquely engraved for your lover. It's almost a tease to give a jewelry box without gifting jewelry to place inside it . Consider my next idea to cover this issue.

A Locket or Pocket Watch :
Jewelry has always been considered a romantic gift. These two jewelry items allow you to make the gift even more romantic. Just be sure to place a picture of you and your lover inside either item. Include a note expressing your love and if possible do wrap it inside the heart shaped box mentioned above. It's the perfect romantic holiday gift.

Favorite Perfume or Cologne :
The most important thing to consider when gifting scents is that it please the person you're gifting it to. The only way you can be certain to get it right is to be sure of their favorite scent. As long as you take the time to investigate the proper name of their favorite, this is a gift that any man or woman will love. Scents are something we spoil ourselves with. When you gift a scent to your lover, you're showing that you enjoy spoiling them as much as they do.

This gift is one you get to actually make by yourself. That effort won't go without notice by your lover. Just make a book with several pages promising massages, kisses, hugs, a night out. There are so many airline flights that can be purchased at discount rates that your imagination is the only limit. When considering where to take your lover, choose a warm destination that you're sure they'd enjoy. The warmer the weather , the hotter the vacation will be.

All these gift ideas can be purchased without every leaving your work desk. If you have a wonderful lover that deserves a romantic gift, time just isn't an excuse anymore. Life is short and sweet.
