I admit I like lingerie, I always have, and it can boost the confidence and make you feel pretty. So when I got the Fredericks of Hollywood, and Victoria Secret's catalogs this year I noticed, that both seem to have gone soft this Christmas season.
Let's start with Frederick's, mostly know for the more, tackier and daring in the lingerie department, this year I seeing more classic, almost Hollywood, 1940's type look. There seems to be more chemises and gowns versus the teddies and costumes, Fredericks are more known to have. Also the color selections are warm and inviting colors, rather then basic black, white, and red.
Victoria Secrets has always been more refined and elegant look, they too also seem to be have the gowns and chemises as well, and following in the classic lines look. Victoria's main focus is the bra and panty line, so once you get past the bras, you do see the lovely gowns they have this year. Although they always seem to have had the same classic look over the years so the change isn't very noticeable, as it is with Fredericks.
Both lingerie suppliers seem to be going with the trend that was this fall, the classic, look, of lace, and famine styling. The styling reminds you of the 1940's, from the eras of the 40's. This is a welcome change from the daring and leaves nothing to the imagination. I really do applaud Frederick's for doing this line this year. It does help bring back, sexy and not sleazy. Victoria, has always had this styling, they always knew how to do the sexy and not the sleazy. If you want the sleazy, Fredericks still has it, don't worry about that, that is the signature of Frederick's, but this new line of classic Hollywood look, with elegance is something I hope they have for a while.

Post a CommentI seem to not be able to find something I wanted to. It is a item of clothing and it's RN number is 73120. It is only meant to be dry-cleaned, and bears a fox or other suck dog- like animal head, or it may be that
the head is of a monster, I wonder.
