Don't let the exterior fool you though, inside is a well kept, inviting dining room with tables placed just far enough away from the others that you feel you have some privacy. Although the brick oven pizza made with fresh mozzarella is delicious, this is a place to splurge starting with the sauté di cozze appetizer (sautéed mussels) or caprese salad (mozzarella with tomato and fresh basil)as an appetizer or choosing from one of several delicious salads including the Insalata Spiritosa, which comes with goat cheese, sliced apples, walnuts, and dried cranberries. Feeling romantic? Choose one of each to share with your date before moving on to any of the authentic Italian entrees. If you enjoy chicken, the Chicken Saltimbocca is delectable. Moist chicken with mushrooms sautéed in white wine sauce and topped with prosciutto and mozzarella is served with pasta, or for a small charge sautéed spinach or broccoli. Pasta dishes, which can be made with whole wheat pasta, include the popular Puttanesca and the Russe, Non Solo Pasta's take on vodka sauce. The restaurant always has specials available, usually with a steak, chop, or seafood selection.
