Oregon Electric Station
Oregon Electric Station is located in downtown Eugene, at the site of the city's original train depot, built in 1912. Historic railroad cars are connected to the building and provide a romantic atmosphere for dining. The O.E.S. Wine Cellar is housed in an antique railroad car and holds more than 250 wine labels. Oregon Electric Station serves steaks and seafood, and the prime rib is a signature entreé, slow-roasted in special ovens and served with creamed horseradish, garlic mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. The menu also includes an extensive list of pastas, including the popular seafood fettucine. Other seafood items include grilled halibut with a parmesan crust and Australian lobster tail. The restaurant also has three lounges that periodically host live Jazz musicians, and there's a giant, gorgeous bar located just inside the main entrance. Oregon Electric Station fills up quickly on weekend nights and on special occasions, such as Valentine's Day, so reservations are recommended.
