Capriccio's is the most romantic Italian restaurant in South Florida ...and the ideal place to take your lover for Valentine's Day. My wife and I dine there frequently ... and have always had a romantic evening and unsurpassed Italian cuisine.

Capriccio's has an extensive menu and wine list that offers something to please everyone. They also have daily specials ... many of which are family recipes you won't find anywhere else.

Appetizers include two of my favorites: Fritto Misto - delicately fried shrimp, calamari, baby scallops and zucchini served on a bird's nest pasta ... Tortine Di Granchio - a savory crab cake with honey mustard sauce. I highly recommend both. Other equally delicious appetizers include escargot provenciale, bruschetta,

carpaccio di salmone and carpaccio di Manzo (filet mignon) and Mozzarella Fresca.

Soups are also superb at Carpriccio's. The Stracciatella Romana - a spinach and parmesan cheese broth is a must try. I also highly recommend their pasta e fagioli and lentil soup.

With a wide selection of pasta dishes to choose from. deciding which to order can be difficult and really help you work up an appetite. Their Parpadelle in a creamy porcini Bolognese sauce, Risotto Veneziana-served with clams, shrimp, mussels and scallops and gnocchi with asparagus and mushrooms are beyond compare. Pasta lovers with more traditional taste will enjoy spaghetti carbonara or linguini with clam sauce.

For entrees, meat lovers should try the Osso Buco which is the most tender I have ever tasted and the double cut pork chop filled with proscuitto and mozzarella in a apple butter demi-glass. Capriccio's serves incredible steaks and chicken entrees too.

Fresh seafood at Capriccio's is also a specialty and includes snapper, grouper. tuna and other local fish as well as lobster. salmon and imported Mediterranean fish flown in fresh for the restaurant. Our waiter Gil, an expert chef and wine connoisseur in his own right, always recommends the best!

There's also an extensive wine list of fine Italian, French and International wines.

After dinner, there's an an adjacent romantic and very elegant lounge where you can dance to live music to cap off the perfect Valentine's evening.

Located at 1900 Harrison Street, just a block away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood Boulevard, Fulvio's offers a quite and romantic getaway for fine Italian cuisine served in an elegant yet understated atmosphere. Downtown Hollywood is not noted for its fine cuisine ... Fulvio's is the exception.

Owners Fulvio and his charming wife Carmen are always at the restaurant and do everything to assure your dining experience is a memorable one. My wife and I dine there regularly ... and I've entertained clients there as well and have nothing but rave reviews. Fulvio's is also a place where my family and I celebrate Father's Day, Mother's Day and other important occasions.

Fulvio's Agnolotti, pasta made with roasted butternut squash, brown butter, sage and cream is the epitome of delicately balanced sweet and savory flavor. It's a unique dish for pasta lovers and vegetarians. The restaurant will be happy to prepare it as either an appetizer or entree. The Orrechette with broccoli rabe, sausage, ricotta and roasted garlic is another of Fulvio's superb pastas that you must try.

The porcini rubbed rib eye steak rivals steaks offered by local and "chain" steak houses. If you love great steak with a subtle Italian twist, oder this. Thira's extensive menu includes a variety of Greek salads and appetizers. Some of the most tasty include the traditional Homous, Spanakopita (spinach pie), grilled calamari, orzo (Greek pasta) and Keftedes (Greek meatballs)

Traditional Greek entrees include mousaka, pastichio, gyro and souvlaki. Seafood lovers will enjoy the whole grilled snapper, char grilled Lavraki (fresh Greek sea bass flown in directly from the Mediterranean), as well as several expertly prepared shrimp dishes.
