Silly Puss
Living in the Hudson valley of New York you have plenty to choose from when it comes to dining out. There are over six hundred restaurants in which to choose from for dinners of all kinds. If you want family friendly Bugaboo Creek is the place to go. If you want something quick but still want to enjoy a sit down experience than maybe Ruby Tuesday's is the place for you. There are romantic places to eat as well, nice places to sit down with your significant other and enjoy yourselves. I have chosen three of the top Hudson Valley restaurants that I feel offer the most romantic settings.

Maya Cafe

Located at 488 Route 9 In Fishkill NY is one of my all time favorites. Not only do they serve the best Mexican dishes I have ever eaten but they serve it with an authentic style. If you take your date there for dinner you will not only receive a wonderful dinner but you will most likely be gifted with a serenade. Each table gets their very own song sung to them, the guitar music as well as the voices of these men that sing to you help add that extra bit of romance to the night the lights are always dimmed as well adding to that romantic. A very wonderful dining experience for all. They offer all the regular menu items that you would get at any Mexican restaurant( fajitas, enchiladas, etc..) for a little bit more than average pricing (the food and experience make it worth it). They offer out of the ordinary meals as well "Tacos De Camaron" fried tortillas filled with shrimp and veggies pico de gallo covered in chile de arbor sauce and sliced avocado, very yummy. A couple could get an appetizer, two drinks and two meals for between sixty and eighty dollars.

O'sho Japanese Restaurant

Located at 1988 South Road Poughkeepsie NY. There is something fun and exciting and oddly romantic about watching your food be prepared right there in front of you. Osho offers only the best Hibachi Chefs so you know your meal will be worth it. The chefs, the servers and all who work there make you feel as though they really take pleasure in serving you. What makes this restaurant romantic is the atmosphere itself, clean well prepared food excellent staff . Everyone around you seems to be having a good time. They offer quite the menu for just drink items such as a "Banzai" vodka, lemon and orange juice, and melon liquor" or the "Sake Margarita, sake, triple sec and lime juice". Hibachi table are for hibachi meals only and they range in prices from 17.95 for the chicken up to fillet mignon for 25.95, they offer add ons as well. If you want regular dining they have that as well and you can get Sashimi sushi for 11.95, their menu is extensive and reasonably priced for the experience you get. They offer an indoor bar and cocktail lounge with an extensive list of drinks to choose from, pretty much any you can imagine.Prices range from four dollars for a Budweiser to ten dollars for a signature cocktail such as a "Bramble, hints of juniper and coriander with a blend of lemon and raspberry's.
