1) Blue Hill at Stone Barns:
About: This gorgeous place is located on a working four-season farm near Tarrytown in an area called Pocantico Hills. They grow their own food as well as get from other local farms. There are no menus at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. Instead, guests are presented with a list of over a hundred ingredients, updated daily, which contains the best offerings from the field and market [1]. The restaurant requires proper attire but ties and jackets are not required. Shorts are not allowed. They also have an open terrace option. As it is a very popular restaurant, sometimes getting the reservation two months in advance is difficult.
Hours: The Restaurant is open only from Wednesdays to Sundays from 5 pm to 10pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 5pm to 11pm on Friday, Saturday for dinner only. But they do have lunch on Sunday from 11am- 2pm.
Price: Since the menu and ambiance are so unique that the price holds no value for the best memorable evenings. But a course of 2 on Wednesdays and Thursday Supper costs $75. Sunday lunch costs $85 for course of 4. A 5 course farmer's feast costs $105.

2) Castle on Hudson- Equus
The beauty of this well preserved castle cannot be described in words. It is over 100 years old and historically noted place to visit. Castle is a luxurious place to stay and spend the memorable time if you have to spend some time longer in Tarrytown. Equus is the inn located inside castle . The Castle is very easy to find as the castle top can be seen from anywhere in Tarrytown. Castle's luxurious guestrooms, suites with wood burning fireplaces and impeccable service, continue to be a favorite among dignitaries and celebrities [2]. The ambiance is absolutely breathtaking and food is incredible too. The dinner requires a proper attire to be worn such as Business casuals and jackets. They have prefix 3 course menu from which you get to choose. The menu is based upon chef's choice of seasonal food. Also the most important thing is to do an advance reservation but usually if there is not much going on its easy to get it for the same day.
Hours: The restaurant is open through Monday to Tuesday for house guests and open from Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 9.00pm and Saturdays 10.00 pm. They have Sunday champagne brunch and teais served Wednesday-Saturday 3:00pm to 4:30pm
Price: The 3 course special with drinks would cost between 150 to $200 for two.

3) Gasho Hibachi Steakhouse
About: Any Hibachi restaurant has its own specialty but if you are in Tarrytown and need an economical place to spend the memorable evening then Gasho Hibachi is perfect for the special chef-prepared food feeling (but in larger quantities). The restaurant itself is so beautiful and has gorgeous backyard with a little pond. They do have many locations but the closest one to Tarrytown is called "Gasho of Japan" in Hawthorne. You do not need to make an advance reservation for this one. Even though you would be seated around the huge hot plate cooking table with others, you would have a great time together when chef starts cooking right in front of you. The theatrical flair of volcano shaped onion hoops is a special feature that chef does on your table. There is a lot of food and drinks to choose from the menu among all meats, seafood and vegetables. Then the chef brings all the raw food in a cart to the table and cooks fresh and serves.
Hours: They are open throughout the week from 11.30 am to 9 30 pm on weekdays and up to 10.30 pm on weekends.

4) Striped Bass
If you ever thought to spend the evening near waters while having great seafood then this would be a perfect way to do it. Striped Bass is located right in Tarrytown near the Hudson river with gorgeous place setting. The food is great so as ambiance. To make it more special and memorable they have live Entertainment and musical performances. The seating is both indoors and outdoors near the river and requires advance reservation. You do not need any formal attires for this place. There is plenty of seafood variety to choose from. They also have a raw bar with oysters, peel and eat shrimp, clams. Besides pan seared fishes, they also have steaks, Pastas with seafood.
Hours: They are open all the days of week. You need to call them for any particular event info and to book your evening for it.
Price: The prices are very reasonable and economical too. They also have small plates and sharing in their menu.
