Romantic Weekend Escapes Near Denver

The majestic Rocky Mountains, breathtaking sunsets and pleasant climate make Colorado's Front Range a great choice for your romantic getaway. Within an hour drive of Denver, you'll find your choice of many options.

Surrounded by Rocky Mountain National Park and Roosevelt National Forest, Estes Park offers outdoor adventure, fantastic scenery and plenty of mountain romance. Choose a cabin or cottage for privacy. Many even have a fireplace and hot tub. For historical elegance, stay at the Stanley Hotel. You'll enjoy spectacular views, five-star service and old world charm. In town, stroll through the quaint city and visit all the little shops. Be sure to get some fresh, salt water taffy at The Taffy Shop. There is a large selection of restaurants to choice from with everything from pizza to steak. Adventurous visitors can take a hike or a climb, do some fishing, hit the trails on a mountain bike or go horseback riding. Estes Park is a little over an hour North of Denver.
