There are many spots in Tulsa where a couple can go for a romantic weekend away from the normal stresses of life that affect them. McBirney Mansion is one of the most beautiful places to stay in Tulsa. It features six themed rooms and one suite, which are each decorated in a different style. The mansion is located on three beautifully decorated acres with stone pathways that lead to spring-fed ponds. The mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. All bedrooms have private baths, some with jetted tubs. You can choose between a hot and cold breakfast. The best location within the mansion is the Bishop's Suite. It features a separate sitting room with a fireplace, and is furnished with antiques, including a French vanity from the 1800's. The Clark-Asberry Bed and Breakfast is located in the beautiful Osage Hills. It's set on 17 acres, which are a wooded retreat. There are only three suites on the property, but they are extremely spacious and beautifully decorated. The Osage Grand Suite offers three rooms. There is a king size bed and a private entrance through the large private bathroom. The bathroom offers two private toilets, and the whirlpool bath is set below a skylight for maximum relaxation. The Osage Territory Suite has a king size bed and a separate sitting room for reading or relaxing There is also a private bath within this suite. The Osage Rose Suite is the smallest of the suites, but offers many beautiful amenities. It is decorated in a beautiful rose color, and there is a private bath and a mahogany king size bed. The property itself features two stocked ponds, and there is a wrap around porch. They offer many games such as darts or billiards, and you can enjoy a movie, tv show, or the baby grand piano. The Ambassador Hotel has spent the last 70 years as one of Tulsa's best hotels. It is recommended by Conde Nast and is on the National Trust for Historical Preservation. There are only seven rooms per floor, which ensures that you will have private, quiet acommodations during your stay. The rooms are exquisitely done in cream tones with marble lined baths and night tables made of granite. The mattresses have pillowtops, and they make every effort to provide luxury accommodations for their guests. The bathroom is spa-like with it's oversized bath towels and lush bathrobes. The hotel features a restaurant downstairs called The Chalkboard. It is a beautifully decorated restaurant with many delicious dishes. Make sure to enjoy a meal there during your stay.
