Duluth, Georgia.
Recently another friend of mine, Kimberly Babb entered their latest Talent Search and was selected to compete at the final competition on September 2, 2010. Again, Virtual Adrenaline's presentation was professional as they had a professional panel of judges at the VAP Mic Night Talent Search. Today I caught up with owner Ronnie K. Winstead and here's what he had to say.
YAHOO: Hi Ronnie. It was so nice to meet you last night. How are you?
RKW: I'm doing well.
YAHOO: Ronnie, for those who are not familiar with your background in music, let's start there. How did you become interested in recording?
RKW: I did some session work in a studio in FL and liked the process. It allowed me to add more instruments and develop ideas that I had for songs.
YAHOO: I enjoyed the tour of Virtual Adrenaline the other night. Can you tell our YAHOO readers where you came up with the name?
RKW: Sure! Virtual is as close to the real thing as you can get. That's the way your project will sound when we work on it. Adrenaline is that feeling that you will get when you hear the finished project. Our Bi-Line or Motto is: "Making You Sound Good" and that's our goal.
YAHOO: Tell us what services you offer at Virtual Adrenaline?
RKW: Wow that's a loaded question. Recording, Mixing, Mastering, Printing, Graphic Arts, Duplication, Shrink-wrap of your CD, UPC, Marketing, Full Video Production just to name a few. We are truly a turn-key production company. You can choose the service that you want us to do or help you with.
YAHOO: Tell us about your recent VAP Mic Night Talent Search. I know the final night for this event is September 2, 2010, but when can we expect to see the next round?
RKW: That will depend on the turn out of this (our 2nd Event)/ If Dave & Busters is happy with the turn out and increase of sales they will encourage us to have another one. We are planning on it, but I would rather wait and see the results before we release the dates for Round 3.
YAHOO: I know that music is your passion, but a "little birdie" told me that you also have talent in creating beautiful things with wood? Tell us about that.
RKW: I create all types of Wood items. Jewelry, Critter Homes and other small items out of different woods from around the world. I have a display in my Studio. I get asked about them all of the time. I don't use any stain or paint on them, yet the colors of Red, Green, Brown, Black and more make the items have a beautiful look.
YAHOO: Where can people purchase some of these beautiful works of art?
RKW: I don't have them on the web, but I have tried and people don't see the beauty unless they see them in person. Pictures just don't do them justice. So feel free to come by and take a look at the Virtual Adrenaline Studio in Duluth, Georgia located at 5900 Sugarloaf Parkway inside the Discover Mills Mall. You have to ask the main information desk or security to escort you to the studio or call our office when you've arrived and we'll personally escort you back to the studio.
YAHOO: How can people connect with you on the World Wide Web Ronnie?
RKW: Our Web site address is: www.virtualadrenaline.com
YAHOO: What advice can you give to aspiring recording artist?
RKW: Practice, Practice, Practice. Find someone that you connect with and can give you good direction and understands your project and your vision and dreams for your songs and your project.
YAHOO: Ronnie, it was a great pleasure meeting you and I look forward to hearing about all the wonderful stars that are birthed out of Virtual Adrenaline Recording Studios.
RKW: Karen, thank you so much for stopping by and I look forward to seeing you again and let's make some music together. Remember at Virtual Adrenaline Productions Recording Studio "We Make You Sound Good".
