ROSEY the YORKIE

Doreen Bradley Satter, RN
My heart is broken tonight. My wonderful little furry companion of ten years left me yesterday. She has been such a faithful, loving little soul, always there to touch me with her tiny paw to let me know she loved me and that I was her person and she, my baby.
I can't believe what an empty place is left without her here. Here is my Haiku tribute to Rosey the Yorkie --

Tiny and soft the pink tongue darts
Tender kiss and touch of paw
Showing unconditional love

I like your tribute to Rosey. I also lost my favorite dog, when I was a child in Ithaca, New York, and my wife and daughters encouraged me to write a children's book about her. It will be published within weeks and it's titled "Puddles of Ithaca." Maybe you will do the same about Rosey?
