Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's Possible Movie Roles

Coming Soon to a Theater Near You?

If you're not up on the fashion world's current events, you've probably overlooked one of the industry's newest, hottest "It" girls. Although, overlooking this British beauty would be pretty hard. Her name is Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (quite a mouthful.) But you'll recognize her by those smoldering, innocent eyes, pillowy looks, and delicate figure befitting a woman emerging from adolescence. That's why replacing Megan Fox with Huntington-Whiteley in Transformers 3 (2011) was more than likely a no-brainer. In the upcoming sequel, Rosie will represent a whole new love interest for Sam. It will be quite interesting to see what kind of mood her presence will cast on the production. Models-turned-actresses are a growing fad. Seeing how Rosie's editorial star quality translates on film will certainly dictate what types of movie roles she'll be offered in the future. But until then it sure is fun to imagine where she might pop up. Here are some ideas ranging from the easiest role to play-to the most complex.

The Blue Lagoon (1980) (Imaginary Remake)
Level of Difficulty: Piece of cake

Brooke Shields is another model-turned-actress who made good in Hollywood. One of her earliest films, The Blue Lagoon is still considered one of the most sensual movies of all time. Rosie and her nubile figure would fare well as Emmeline and capture the innocence of the role without fail.

Alice in Wonderland (2010)
Level of Difficulty: A walk in the park

Australian actress Mia Wasikowska was a levelheaded casting choice in the 2010 springtime hit, Alice in Wonderland. With colorful director Tim Burton at the helm of this amazing production, you could expect just about any kind of magic to occur on screen. Suffice it to say, the film might have been equally magical (if not more so) with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley filling Wasikowska's shrinking shoes. Rosie's still within the tender age bracket that allows her to bend her chameleon looks; her ethereal affect would have been perfect for this dreamy movie. Channeling a naïve, yet courageous ingénue shouldn't require too much effort.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (2011/2012)
Level of Difficulty: Quite the toothy challenge

Wouldn't Rosie be a simply delicious choice of replacement for vampire queen Jane? Surely, Dakota Fanning is doing a stellar job with the icy character, but Rosie's pearly, alabaster presence would be equally delightful. In Twilight: Breaking Dawn, Rosie may have to break from her English accent to play the role of Jane. But her exotic looks are befitting for Jane's vampire heritage.

Natural Born Killers (1994) (Imaginary Remake)
Level of Difficulty: Take a few acting classes, honey

You can see it in those pouty lips, those tempting "faux" dimples, and that alluring bad-girl gaze. Rosie is a softer, more alien-like Juliette Lewis-oozing sensuality with a smidgen of mystery. Tackling the tantalizingly, insane brilliance of Mallory in Natural Born Killers might be somewhat of a stretch for newly inducted actress, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. But if she is actually able to conjure up some of that "victimized-crazy" that Juliette Lewis dished out in the 1994 smash hit, she's well on her way to superstardom.

The Exorcist: Now (Totally Imaginary Sequel)
Level of Difficulty: You'd better take a year (or two) off to prepare

We've gone backwards and forwards with The Exorcist. We know where those evil demons came from, where they went, and how they got there. Linda Blair broke the mold as a possessed young woman in both the first film and The Exorcist II: The Heretic. Somehow none of the films following the 1973 original have really captured the essence of pure terror. Until...Now. The Exorcist: Now, that is. Sure, we all know this film doesn't exist yet, but just give filmmakers some time. Hollywood has tackled just about every angle of exorcism known to man. And just when you thought you'd seen The Last Exorcism (2010)-here comes yet another sequel to one of the greatest horror films of all time. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley would certainly have her work cut out for her in this over-the-top sequel. The story would focus on what happened to Regan years after she's "forgotten" her demonic ordeal in Washington, D.C. After undergoing the necessary aesthetic transformation into Regan, Rosie would need to dig really deep to make sure that she doesn't merely come off as a possessed Victoria's Secret model. (Wait, now that's a great movie idea...)
