Has things turned sour for Rosie? It appears so. According to several reports, the huge topic in Hollywood is that star Rosie O'Donnell will be announcing her departure from "The View" on the show Wednesday (April 25, 2007) morning.

According to TMZ.com, a strong buzz is floating around Hollywood that the openly gay star will be announcing on "The View" that she will be leaving the show. The site is also reporting that the news is coming from insiders with the show.

Rosie O'Donnell has been under attack regarding the way she releases her opinions on the hit television talk show, "The View", for months. Her "tell it like it is" attitude has even caused on-air fights with Donald Trump and Kelly Ripa - and even going to the extreme of saying that President George Bush was behind the September 11th attacks.

As one of the most controversial celebrities on daytime television, Rosie O'Donnell has sparked websites such as stoprosie.com to emerge. The site hosts a online petition to remove Rosie from television. According to the website, over 88,000 people have signed to have Rosie O'Donnell removed from "The View".

In response to stoprosie.com, another website with a online petition has started. DefendRosie.com proclaims that Rosie should be left alone and boasts over 9,000 signatures.

We will just have to wait and see what tomorrow will bring for Rosie.

I hate to see her leave, she has made the show so more interesting.

Watch - she'll be coming up with a "satellite" radio show. Oh yes! I'm sure it's already in the works.
