Rosie O'Donnell's Apparent Death Wish

Why the Host of The View Should Be Supporting the War in Iraq

Mister Patriot
Loud-mouthed Rosie O'Donnell, the apparent lead host of the 'The View' (now that Barbara Walters has abandoned all sense of reason and responsibility to the American people), seems to revel in attacking the administration of George W. Bush as well as the efforts of our troops to complete the task before them in Iraq and Afghanistan. She thrilled, recently, in telling her viewers that the recent act of war Iran inflicted on one of our staunchest Western allies, Great Britain, was actually an act by that very ally designed to incriminate Iran (ala her Gulf of Tonkin remark). Apparently the West is to blame for this as well. Certainly this situation couldn't have been the results of desparate actions taken by Ahmadinejad, the same incensed president of Iran that condemns the West and wants to see Israel blasted off the globe (and the same ruler who is watching his popularity plummet as his nation suffers from UN-imposed sanctions that are the direct result of his flagrant disregard for international law). No.... of course not. It must be some subversive act of the West intended to victimize poor Mahmoud 'Gimme-a-Jihad' ad his government.

This trend in her vomitous rantings is nothing new. She has condemned all reasonable efforts in the Middle East to give power back to the Iraqi people. Efforts that can hopefully begin to create a moderate Middle East and bring an end to the Islamofacism that births unending terrorist activities not only against the West, but also against those very denizens of the Middle East. She argues, like many of the ignorant wacko-nutjobs on the far left, that removing Saddam was a mistake. Apparently it just wasn't our business to put an end to the torture, rape, and murder of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis. Nope. All that matters to her and her ilk is that 'Bush Lied' when we went to war. Forget that every Intelligence Agency in the world, and Saddam's very own military, believed that WMDs did exist and were in the ruthless dictator's hand. That doesn't matter. Forget that our soldiers have uncovered stash after stash after stash of dangerous weapons and toxic materials all over Iraq... that doesn't matter either. 'Bush lied.' Not 'Bush was wrong,' mind you, but he lied! Apparently he's a deviously diabolic bastard that fully intended to drag our nation into a war that we can't possibly win and didn't event have any business fighting in the first place. He cleverly manipulated all of congress to pull this off as well, mind you, and then convinced Great Britain, Australia and other nations to conspire in his evil plan! Er... wait a minute... I thought the left said Bush was a 'moron?' What does that say about your beloved left, Rosie? But I digress...

What Rosie, and others like her, should really be considering is the fact that if we leave the Islamofacists to their own devices to pursue their own ends unopposed, they will continue to lash out at the West (and the rest of the non-Muslim world) until they can fulfill what they genuinely believe is their manifest destiny: to restore the Muslim Empire and seize control of the world. Now maybe I miss the point, and Rosie is actually planning on moving to the Moon and ceding the planet Earth to the Muslim Extremists, but if I'm not wrong - and she plans on staying on Earth once these Islamofacists fulfill their end goals - she's going to be promptly arrested, tortured, and executed.

She would be right at the top of their list after all. Why, you ask? Well let's list just a few reasons:

1. She's a lesbian. Homosexuality is an offense worthy of death, according to the Qur'an and the Hadiths of the Muslim-beloved Muhammad. I wonder if she is aware that under the rule of the Taliban, homosexuals in Afghanistan were put to death. Of course even with the influence of the West in today's Afghanistan, and the removal of the Taliban government, gays in that country still look forward to being fined and/or imprisoned merely for their lifestyle choice. Awesome. That's just fantastic, right Rosie? I can certainly see the sense in butting out of the Muslim world!

2. She's a woman who (loudly!) speaks her mind. Merely being born female, according to Muslim extremists (you know... the kind of Muslim that turns to TERRORISM to get what they want!), that makes her essentially chattel and property. Should she suddenly find herself in a Taliban-esque Muslim nation... she'd be required to don a burqa (head-wrap) and veil. Oh... and to SHUT UP. Certainly the male-dominated Taliban would not have tolerated her even having an opinion, much less expressing it. I am sure that they appreciate her speaking out against President Bush, but I doubt that they would be so understanding once they find themselves in power. Women are to be seen, not heard. They are married off at early ages - generally in order to further the influence and wealth of the Patriarch of the family - and bear children for their husband. She'd have to ask permission of a man to leave her house. She wouldn't be allowed to drive. The Taliban would have denied her an education, equal medical care, and probably even employment. She certainly would not be allowed to continue to voice her own opinions on 'The View.'

3. That brings us to number three. Anyone at all, especially a woman, who dared to question the government in an Islamofacist state would quickly be executed - likely right along side their family and children - right after they were tortured into admitting that they were wrong about their initial criticisms. The freedom of speech that she so enjoys in the great nation of the United States of America would be nothing more than a distant memory should Muslim Extremists take control here. Speaking out against the policy of the state would be an invitation to torture, rape, and death. Period.

Now all of this is putting aside the simple fact that non-Muslims are akin to cattle according to the extremists. To kill a non-Muslim is no worse than slaughtering a pig. In fact, according to the extremists, killing non-believers is exactly what Muhammad would want them to do. Once more, Rosie dies.

Despite my initial satrical impulse to declare that as a point in favor of the Islamofacists, I do not believe that Rosie (nor any of the other leftist defeatists) deserves to die for her diarrhetic rhetoric (nor for her choice of lifestyle, much less that she happens to be a woman with strong opinions!). She should, however, pull her head from her hindquarters and realize that it is not only legitimate to continue fighting against Islamofacism in the Middle East, but it is essential. Lest we find ourselves victims of the ceaseless terrorism that the extremists WILL use in order to bring the West to its knees and restore the 'glory' of the Muslim Empire, we MUST continue to fight them. We MUST show every nation of the world that we cannot accept their tolerance of terrorism.

Unless Rosie really does have a Death Wish... she would be well-advised to think a little more about what is actually going on in the world... to educate herself and learn what it is these Islamofacists really want... and to support our troops and allies instead of aligning herself with the enemies of the modern world - like Ahmadinejad!

  • Rosie claims the seizure of 15 british soldiers was staged by the West to incriminate Iran.
  • Rosie would find herself on the Death Lists of Muslim Extremists.

Also as a milspouse with some understanding of how top-secret information works -- I guarantee you that the information we see in the public about WMD is only the tip of the iceberg. Most of it is kept hidden for very good reasons. You must take that into consideration prior to deciding that our highest public officials have lied - or you are proceeding on flawed data. We don't have a Republican congress anymore either -- so I'm anxious to see when our new Democrat congress finds enough evidence to indict anyone on lying about WMD. They don't need a whole lot of evidence these days, from what I've seen, to proceed.

Paul -- as a military spouse, I trust my husband with my life, heart, and soul -- and he has access to tons of information I don't. When he says we belong there, I believe him. Not the media. Not liberals. Not even other conservatives. I believe my husband, and I'm proud of him and know he's doing the right thing. Same with my little brother, an Army sergeant Redleg in Afghanistan -- he is proud to be there, and I support him with my whole heart and mind. Do not dare tell me I should be angry. I know when I need to be angry, and I don't need anyone to tell me who to be upset with. I have a very good brain and use it regularly. I also know where lies are coming from in this crazy world we're living in today -- hint, it's not Bush. Don't trust *anyone*. Question *every* source. That's the only way you can find truth today.

... and Kimberly, you apparently have forgotten about the "pro-life" Christian extremists responsible for multiple murders and acts of terrorism over the past couple of decades.

One more thing--for those who say "no one lied" about WMD and Iraq--watch the PBS special on the subject next Wednesday, April 25th at 9 PM.

Jim Clayton--it is ridiculous to claim Churchillian prophecy when it comes to this sham war on terror. Hitler had in his power the most formidable military machine in the world at the time, and the circumstances don't even come close to paralleling the threat of muslim extremists. Bottom line is that all you scared little babies who draw nazi parallels and that want to fight a NEVER ENDING war against terror, are not being sensible and are ignorant of history. The funny thing is that your fear has allowed you to give a pass to Cheneybush & congressional Republicans, who have been dismantling the Constitution in the name of the "war on terror"--how does that make sense? Isn't compromising the Constitution as good as surrendering to extremists? Lastly, keep in mind that the British burned the White House in 1812 and we didn't need to take an axe to the Constitution...

You are a joke Mr. Patriot, if only for the fact that you are one of the only kooks left on the planet who insists we found WMD in Iraq that posed an imminent threat to the USA--you do realize that even some of the most hardcore supporters of the Iraq OCCUPATION admit the WMD threat was nonexistent as described by Cheneybush. And Jamie, Cheneybush have never been held accountable for LYING about WMD because the Republican congress wouldn't allow any sort of investigation, and you don't have to take my word about the lies--take a minute to look at what they said, when they said it, and then compare that top the intelligence they had--at the very least you will see that they vastly exagerrated things, and you as a military spouse shuld be angries than anyone about it.
