Known locally as "Texas State-Round Rock", RRHEC is the place to be and enrollment is taking place now in September for fall classes. Back to school time doesn't have to be just for children now. Central Texas also has many great programs for adults who are looking for continuing education and now is the time to start enrolling in classes and programs that meet your needs.

The Round Rock Higher Education Center (RRHEC) is the official name of Texas State University-San Marcos' campus in Round Rock, Texas. This campus offers upper-level courses to help you obtain bachelor's degrees, complete master's degrees and also certificate programs at convenient times that work for you. The idea is to help people go back to school by offering programs and courses close to where students live and work and at times that work for them.

Students who complete their degree requirements on Texas State's Round Rock campus earn their degrees from Texas State University-San Marcos. This is fully accredited and get your far with your ongoing adult education.

This is an exciting time for Round Rock Higher Education Center because September is the start of new enrollment and new classes and there are also many great, exciting events on the campus that are free to attend. You can view a full campus schedule online to learn about upcoming events, registration requirements and more to help you get started in your future education.

If you're thinking of going back to school, no matter what your current age or how long it's been since you were out of school, the Austin area has more resources than nearly anywhere else in the state. In fact, all of Texas a whole has a very strong record for helping adults who want to go back to school or continue their education.

If you've made the decision to give it a try, Round Rock Higher Learning Education Center is a great choice. Here are some additional things to consider before going back to school:

• Seek financial aid- there are many grants, loans and additional programs to help adults who want to go back to school. It never hurts to first apply and see what type of financial aid or assistance you might be eligible for.

• Manage your stress and anxiety- have a clear plan for how you will manage stress and anxiety before you even sign up for continuing education.

• Have a good support system- when you have a good support system, it will help you get through the challenges of going back to school as an adult so that you can find success that you seek.

Going back to school as an adult can be a stressful time but with programs and schools like RRHEC, it doesn't have to be as difficult.
