Their menu selection is decent offering common popular dishes such as fish and chips, bangers and mash, and Shepard's Pie. The menu also offers other British specialty themed dishes a variety of (with a bit of Irish and Scottish influences in some of them). Their meal pricings are somewhat average and they do offer frequent specials such as $9.95 entrées. Their food quality is pretty good, but can it be considered super authentic? No, it is not. I have been to England before and also to other British establishments within the United States, and it is certainly not entirely authentic, but the taste of the dishes does make up for that lack. The bar does offer over twenty different kinds of authentic imported draft beers, specializing in local British ones and more well-known ones such as Newcastle.
Overall, this place is a good to try out and experience a different kind of setting. I definitely saw families dining her, but I also witnessed a few drunks getting a bit to rowdy and seedy at the nearby bar, so that is something you will want to take into consideration when venturing out to this place. It is a neat place to think of for hanging out with friends or even for a simple and relaxed date. Parking space can be a bit sparse though. My friend and I had to park at the adjacent shopping center parking lot and walk across the intersection to get to the restaurant. Situated in old town Redlands just off of the 10 Freeway, this is your "go to" place if you are looking for a decent British pub to hang out at. There is also another location in the nearby city of Riverside about half an hour away.
