Royal Oak home to new record store

A new record store called UHF recently opened for business on the 500 block of S. Washington. The store has an inventory of 50,000 to 60,000 records and will sell used collectibles as well as new records. They also put in two booths that look like something you'd see at a restaurant where customers can listen to records. There is a stage in the back of the store for live music.

Their page on Facebook lists their hours as 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Tuesdays are new release days at the store. The grand opening was Saturday, Sept. 11.
