Royal Oak, MI 48067
United States of America
There were two state proposals on the ballet and one passed. The state proposal to hold a constitutional convention failed, with 2 of every 3 Royal Oak voters marking "no." The other state proposal, limiting the ability for felons to run for office in Michigan, took 80 percent of the vote in Royal Oak.
There were also three similar Royal Oak ballet proposals, all which passed by huge margins. The proposals will make Royal Oak Golf Course, Normandy Oaks Golf Course, and Memorial Park Parking Lot public recreational facilities. This will prevent the city from selling off the properties without prior approval from the voters.
