Royal Wedding Date Set For Prince William And Kate Middleton At Westminster Abbey
Prince William and Kate Middleton Have Been Dating for Nine Years and Met as Students at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
The royal couple's wedding will be one to remember. According to Katie Nicholl, the country will get a day off for the royal wedding. Katie told Good Morning America "They wanted a Friday. They wanted a spring wedding to give the country a day off. They didn't want this to take to long. Remember, they've been together nine years. They were just desperate to get it over with."
This brings up the next question on who is paying the royal couple to wed. Remember, they are suffering a $130 billion slash in spending and about 500,000 jobs cut. So where is the money coming from to pay for the royal couples wedding? According to Katie Nicholl, the royal family will pay for the wedding. Katie stated, "It will be a subdued affair, at least relative to most royal celebrations. But let's face it, the royal family isn't short a few pennies."
Westminster Abbey
Westminster Abbey can hold 3000 guests. However, the royal couple has not announced their guest list for the wedding. Westminster Abbey is going to hold a couple different feelings for Prince William. It was where he said goodbye to his mother Princess Diana during her funeral in 1997. So this will prove to be emotional for Prince William, a happy time because he's marrying the woman he loves, a sad time because of the memories he will have of saying goodbye to the late Princess Diana.
The Royal Couple
Prince William and Kate Middleton have been dating for nine years and met as students at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. Although Kate Middleton does not come from royalty this couple has proved that does not matter. Most royalty weds other aristocrats but this royal couple does not let this affect them in anyway shape. This is true love at its best. It also shows true love has no boundaries when it comes to being royal or non-royalty.
The Royal coupe plans to live in north Wales and Prince William plans to continue service in the Royal Air Force.
