World’s Finest Issue #1 does a great job of setting up a new series. It will grab fans of alternate universe storylines while also appealing to those like me who steer clear of anything that doesn’t happen in the “ real” world.

'Animal Man Volume 1: The Hunt' Graphic Novel Review

When DC sent me the first issue of their Animal Man title, I smirked. I found it hard to take a character with such a name seriously. I can't stress how wrong I was. This book will appeal to horror fans and comic book geeks alike.

Purists will put up a wall when they start reading 'Batman: Year One,' thinking that Johns is playing with something sacred and he is. What he does with all the traits added to the different characters he justifies and reins in by the close of the book.

Movie Review: 'Dark Shadows'

'The Avenger' is probably one of the best superhero films ever made. That’s a lot coming from me because I’m a DC Comics guy. I don’t even read Marvel or keep up with the Universe. I recommend spending the extra money to see the movie in IMAX 3D.
