Ruff Wear Web Master Harness Review

Having a small dog my vet recommended that she use harnesses rather than collars. With her small neck, harnesses are an easy way to ensure that undue pressure is not being put on her neck. In addition, she rides in the car in a booster seat to give her the ability to look out the window and to keep both of us safe. The harness just clicks right into a clip that is meant for it.

My dog has always been a great leash walker and so I have never thought too much about her escaping from her cute harness. There was a day that changed all of that when she was spooked, she backed right out of her harness. Luckily I was able to get her and upon realizing it was only me there she came right to me. However, I did not want to have to have this experience again.

This harness is high tech and even has a handle to pick you dog up with. It is exceptionally outdoor friendly. It has great cushioning that seems to be the most comfortable harness my dog has ever had.

The harness also comes with reflective strips to keep them visible at night. The $49.95 I paid for this harness at http://www.altrec.com/ruff-wear/web-master-dog-harness seemed at first to be quite a bit. My thought however was that it was a small price to pay if it kept my dog safe.

I read reviews from many from people who bought the harness for their dogs who escaped all harnesses they ever had. Most did not buy it for the outdoor rugged feeling. Every single one of them said it was a miracle that they could walk their dogs without fearing an escape. While I am lucky in the sense that my dog really does walk great on a leash and had never escaped prior, this harness makes me feel 100% more comfortable that I will not have the same experience again.
