Rum Cocktail for a New Year's Eve Party

To supplement the table with light and multicoloured cocktails you need an aperitif that sparkle, champagne is circumstantial during the holidays, but you can also enjoy its small world with some tasty cocktails. The nice part is that there is still some days for training and develop the cocktail that everyone at your New Year's Eve party will enjoy. Here's an idea based of 3 cocktails of rum that I enjoy and hope that will give you ideas.

The Bees Rum cocktail (wired name huh!)

Serves 4 persons - Preparation: 10 min

Ingredients

40 cl rum

4 tablespoons of water

4 tablespoons of liquid honey

4 tablespoons of liquid cream

12 ice cubes

Powdered sugar

Preparation

Place 4 cups cocktail in the freezer.

In your shaker, mix honey and water until the honey is completely melted.

Add the rum and cream and shakes.

Add ice cubes and shake.

Strawberry Daiquiri

For one person - Preparation: 15 minutes

Ingredients

In a mixer put

- 5 Strawberry

- 1 Tea lime juice

- 1 Tea sugar

- 1 part light rum

- 150 g of crushed ice

Preparation

Put the mixer running 10 sec. to liquefy; another 10 sec. for whipping;

Serve it in a wine glass or high collar glass; garnish with a strawberry

Variation: For a creamier cocktail, reduce the amount of ice at 100 g and add 50 ml cream.

Estoril Sol - Portugal

For one person - Preparation: 15 minutes

Ingredients

- 30 ml rum

- 10 ml Banana Cream

- 10 ml Margay

- 20 ml of orange juice

- A few drops of lime juice and lemon juice

- Seven-up

Preparation

Put the first 5 ingredients in a high ball glass; add a few ice cubes, fill the glass with seven-up, decorate with a slice of orange, cherry, mint leaf and two straws
