Rum Drinks for a New Years Eve Party

1-2 shots of Malibu Rum

Ice

Cranberry Juice

Fill tall glass with ice. A beer glass works great for this, these may also be called a pilsner glass, but any tall glass will do. Pour over the shot or shots of Malibu Rum. Fill the remaining area in the glass to top with Cranberry Juice. This red drink is very festive for the Holidays. Decorate with a toothpick filled with cranberries or cranberries and lime chunks alternated. A bamboo and paper drink umbrella is also great or even a noise maker would be cute. This drink is one of those that will sneak up on a person. Even though these go down very smooth and do not taste like there is much alcohol in them, they do, just as with any other Rum and will impair your judgment. Do Not drink and Drive.

1-2 shots of Malibu Rum

Cranberry Juice

Orange Juice

Fill a tall glass with ice. A pilsner or beer glass will work well, any tall glass works well though. Pour the shots over the ice. Fill to 3/4 full with Cranberry Juice, fill last 1/4 of glass with orange juice. This Drink is a bright orange color. Decorate with toothpicks filled with orange quarter slices and cranberries. Paper umbrellas work well also. This drink is the type that will sneak up on a person. Because the drink does not taste strongly of alcohol, do not drink more than of other hard alcoholic drinks. This drink will impair judgment. Do not drink and drive.
