Rumble Fighter: Beginner Tips and Tricks

Delay

Delay is the pause you can control from continuing a combo. Some attacks have little to no delay to them at all.

The Shidokan scroll has the best delay abilities in the game, but many other scrolls have good delays as well. Mainly slower scrolls like Murekwon, Karate, all have good delays.

Tackling

A pretty generic attack that every scroll has. Tackling is performed by pressing Punch/kick while running. However, the kick tackle doesnt knock opponents out, but just hits them like a regular kick. Tackling is essential to knock opponents off the map as it has a great knockback distance. The kick tackling can be used to hit an opponent who is running away, this slows him down which lets you catch up to him. It is crucial to know when to when to tackle and when to not. Avoid tackling unless you really believe that you can do it perfectly. Angling tackles is crucial, since that decides whether you get killed or the opponent kills you.

Grappling

The best way to counter opponents who like to block a lot is to throw them. Throwing tosses your opponents behind your back at a fair distance.

However, The enemy must be facing somewhere your direction. For If he's facing upwards and im facing foward, the grapple won't be a success.

Nanmu

Nanmu is the multi-hitting combo skill which can obtained at level 20, and beats survival mode 3 times.

To start the Nanmu skill, you have to press "v" on your keyboard or whatever button it is to do (exocore) skill 1. Your character will perform a quick dash, and then you have repeatedly punch until the skill has been completely executed. (You have to press punch button even for kicks)

Nanmu can only be used once a round, just like panic attack. So it is important to know when to use it and when to not use it. Nanmu can be avoided either when the opponent is guarding himself or when he uses the panic attack. So it would be wise to use nanmu on an opponent who has used the panic attack.

Juggling

Juggling is pretty simple. Just hit your opponent before the land (or right when they land). But to start a juggle, it is very important to use a launching attack (varies from scrolls) to send up the opponent high up in the air. Juggling is very easy to execute, however one must be very careful as to how and when to execute. One mistake and the you can miss your juggle.
