Possible 16-Week Engagement May Begin in October 2009

Rumors of Garth Brooks coming out of retirement for a 16-week concert tour in Las Vegas continue to persist on the internet. If true, fans of Garth Brooks better be ready to snatch up tickets.

Garth Brooks is one of the biggest musical acts in the history of the world and ever since his retirement a few years back his fans have grown restless. They love Garth Brooks and he loves them right back, maybe even a little more.

A recent blog post implied that a writer named Norm Clarke of the Las Vegas Review Journal has suggested that Garth Brooks may be doing his own Vegas show that will start in October. It is certainly possible that a Las Vegas newspaper would have sources that are reliable.

Now today TheInsider.com posted a report that suggested that Garth is finalizing plans to appear at the Encore Theater in Las Vegas for a 16-week run beginning October of this year.

There is no doubt in anyone's mind that Garth Brooks could and would sell out every single seat in every concert of this 16-week run in Vegas, if it happens like everyone hopes it will happen.

Garth has been out of the limelight for too long and fans really need a refresher course in how spectacular entertainer he really is. With all the trouble with the Great Recession, bankruptcies, foreclosures and unemployment, Garth Brooks could bring a whole lot of smiles to a whole lot of places.

Let us all hope that the rumors of a 16-week Garth Brooks concert engagement in Las vegas are absolutely true and that he signs the contract as soon as humanly possible.

Check out the Encore Theater's Web site for more information.

i've been waiting for years to see garth - now the shows are sold out except for the ticket agents on line who want to charge close to $1000 for a $150 ticket! i think that ought to be against the law!
looks like i'll never get to see garth in person. . .
