RuneScape Deadliest Catch Quest Walkthrough
Walkthrough of RuneScape Master Quest 'Deadliest Catch.'
Deadliest Catch quest is a RuneScape quest of master difficulty and short duration. Released June 7, 2011, Deadliest Catch quest requires level 70 fishing and thieving as well as level 67 hunter.
RuneScape players start this quest in the fishing guild. Jones has fished all his life and feels that in order to stake his claim to fame, he must hunt the Thalassus. Like in most quests, you happen to be the adventurer who gets roped into helping.
In the first part of Deadliest Catch quest, the RuneScape player goes about preparing for the trip at sea, following the prompts from Jones and a few other NPC's. Three things are needed; someone to row, a weapon to hunt with, and a map. When all the preparations are in place, it is time to set sail in hunt of the Thalassus. The RuneScape player tracks it down in a manner similar to tracking kebbits in hunter. Upon discovering the Thalassus, Jones is swallowed and you end up captured on an island.
A chat dialogue is then entered, the RuneScape player must select the correct option six times to convince the mermaid to release him as well as give him a poisoned karambwan to feed the Thalassus so that it may throw Jones up. Upon rescuing Jones, the crew books for shore and the quest is completed. Jones may have failed hunting the Thalassus but now sells Thalassus repellant.
RuneScape players receive experience and in game advantages as rewards (spoilers in this rewards slideshow.) Perhaps the most important reward is the new bank boxes.
