Runescape: A Guide to Prince Ali Resuce, a Free to Play Quest

To make this quest a little easier try gathering these items before you start this quest. You will need a rope which you can buy from Ned in the village of Draynor or in general stores. You will also need an empty bucket which is also at general stores, then fill it with water. Then you will need three beers which you can pick up at one of Runescapes many bars. Three balls of wool which you will need to bring with you to Ned so he can make you a wig. Yellow dye can be bought with two onions and five coins at Aggie the witch's house in Draynor. Onions are near Rimmington or you can get some near Fred the farmer's house in Lumbridge. A pot full of flour can be made by picking grain in the field which is just north west of Fred the farmer's house. Then take the grain up to the top floor of the windmill. Next use the grain with the hopper, and click to operate the hopper.

Go back to the first floor and use your pot with the flour. If you need a pot that can also be bought at the general store. Now you will need to grab some red berries which are south of Varrock near the mining pit. While you are there pick up some clay, tin and copper ore. Add some water to the clay to make soft clay, and smelt your ores in a furnace to get a bronze bar. While you are still in Varrock you will want to buy a pink skirt from the local clothes shop. Then you will want to chop down a tree and light the logs you get with your tinderbox. Pick up the ashes since you will need them for the quest. Make sure all the items are in your inventory and have at least ten gold coins on hand for the toll at the Al Kharid gate. To recap you will need: one rope, three balls of wool for a wig, an bucket filled with water added to dry clay ore to make soft clay, a vial of yellow dye (two onions and five coins), a pot full of flour, red berries, a bronze bar, a pink skirt, ashes and ten gold coins for a toll.

To start the quest you will need to go talk to Hassan in the Al Kharid palace, he will direct you to talk to a man named Osman. Osman will be wondering around outside of the palace just tell him that Hassan sent you. He will tell you that the Prince of Al Kharid, Ali has been kidnapped by the evil Lady Keli. He will give you the information you need to start this rescue mission. He says that you will have to make a disguise and make an imprint of a key to let the prince out of her jail.

Now that you know what you are expected to do you need to go to Draynor Village and find Leela she should be near a field of grain. Talk to her and tell her that you are going to help her free Prince Ali. She will check your inventory to see what items you have and she will tell you if you need to get anything else.

Go to Aggie the witch now so that she can make you some Skin paste from the flour and Yellow dye for your wig. Then you will need to talk to Ned the retired sea captain is also in a house in the village. Four balls of wool and he can get you a rope, if you don't have one already. You will also need to give him three balls of wool so he can make you a pretty wig. Make sure you take the yellow dye and use it on the wig for your new blond hair.

Next head over to the jail it's marked on the world map. After you get there you will want to talk to Lady Keli. Select praises of her in the chat box and then ask her what her latest plan is to get information on the prince. Finally you will want to ask her what she has done to ensure that no one will let the prisoner out. Double check to make sure that you have your clay and then ask her if you can see the key. Then after asking to touch the key use your clay with the key to get an imprint. Take the print to Osman and give him the bronze bar. He will say that it will be a while for him to make the key. Head back to Draynor and pick up the key from Leela. Now head back to the jail you are looking for a guard named Joe, offer him beer until he is drunk. Then take your rope and tie up the evil Lady. Quickly use your key on the jail's door to free the Prince. Talk to him and give him the disguise. Lastly you will return to Hassan and talk to him to finish the quest. As your reward you can pass toll free through the gate between Lumbridge and Al Kharid. You will receive three quest points and 700 gold coins!
