Runescape - Perfected Zerker Pure Guide

Daniel Green
Doogie's guide to making the perfect zerker pure! Please rep this if you like it, and I will make more in future :')

What makes a zerker pure a zerker pure?

Zerker pures MUST have between 45 and 50 defence, and must eventually own a berserker helmet.

What are the advantages of a zerker pure?

The fact is that a zerker pure will KO any low level def pure or main its level, there's no doubt about it. The fact that they have 45 defence means that hitting is a lot harder, and means that the combat level of the account stays relatively low. Basically they are a lot harder to hit plus hit loads for their level!

What attack and prayer levels?

I personally am making my zerker pure to be one which remains as close to 70 attack as possible and that remains at 1 pray. The reasons; I hate combat levels and feel that high attack and pray are useless nowadays. There was no need to get attack up as a zerker pure before, but people were forced to use whip. Now there is something called a Sara Sword which means you can keep your attack at 70!

Prayer? Two reasons: combat levels suck arse, 43 pray gets 7 combat levels, I mean wtf? You don't need protect melee! You can do quests without it if you're good, and now you can't get rushed as there is a protection time after combat now! Also you don't need protect 1 item as you can't even use it in wildy now, and there are 1 protect worlds lmao!

Now onto the actual making of the account!

Step 1: Make your account and complete Tutorial Island. I would choose a name that represents the account you are making (x zerker x).

Step 2: Once you are out, run directly to the cow fields in Lumbridge (north east). People kill cows their A LOT and many will leave the cow hides. To make your first lot of cash, all you need to do is loot the cow hides.

Get 8 inventories of cow hides and you will have enough to last you for a long time. It does not cost very much to start off a brilliant zerker pure.

Step 3: Walk north to the Grand Exchange. You will be able to sell all of your cow hides for roughly 46.5k.

With you money you will want to buy:

All the scimitars (iron to rune excluding black) and full mithril armour.

Step 4: Equip just your iron scimitar for now. Your first training spot is going to be seagulls. This is because they cannot hit you, and they have higher hitpoints than chickens (6 instead of 3)!

Home teleport and follow the map below:

You will continue to kill seagulls until 40 attack, 40 Strength, 20 Defence. Then you will definitely be strong enough to fight the next monster.

I will include exp rates at the end.

Step 5: Now you can equip your Rune scimitar and Mithril armour! Equip these. Your next training spot of rock crabs. This is because of their very high hitpoints but very low defence. You can use either side of the rock crabs, but I prefer the East.

But a Camelot teleport and walk north until you reach as far north as you can go.

You will continue to kill rock crabs until you have 60 attack, 70 strength, 45 defence. This is when you will become strong enough to successfully kill the next monster!

Step 6: Time to do some minigames (this is the most boring part in my opinion)

First off I recommend going to Warrior's guild to get yourself a rune defender. This is a vital part of a zerker pure's outfit as it increases strength bonus by 5 and is relatively easy to get with a little bit of patience. You need your attack and strength to add up to 130+ to gain access.

Next, you need to make your way to Warrior's guild. I recommend doing this by using a games necklace to teleport to Burthorpe games room, then walking from there to the guild.

When you first enter, you must go to the first room with a set of armour (helm, plate, legs)

You then simply use one of the pieces on either of the Magical Animators and a steel monster will appear. Kill this and it will drop your armour and some warrior guild tokens.

WARNING: IF USING ARMOUR STEEL OR LOWER YOU MUST TAKE SPARE PARTS AS SOMETIMES THEY DISSEAPEAR. WHEN USING STEEL, ONLY LEGS WILL DISSAPEAR.

Once you have at least 100 warrior guild tokens (I recommend 400 at a time), you need to go up two staircases. Once you are at the top floor you must speak to Kamfreena. She will release cyclopses which drop the defender you next need. Kill these until they drop a bronze defender (which usually takes the longest) and then leave and use it on Kamfreena. Repeat this process until you have a rune defender!

Next you need to get a Fighter Torso! This is veryyyyy boring but the torso is definitely worth it as it increases your strength bonus by 4.

To get yourself a torso you need to get to Barbarian Outpost. Again, I would recommend using a games necklace to teleport there.

Once you go down the ladder, you need to make your way North and then up to the top left corner. When you start you need to enter the room marker '1' and you will slowly work yourself up to 10. The points will increase as you get to higher rounds.

Due to the game being so complicated, with so many different things going on it would be impossible for me to include all of the rules in this guide as it is a zerker pure guide. But this is what I think you need to know:

• You need at least 375 points in each role to get a fighter torso

• As an attacker you need to killed the penance fighters and penance rangers with weapons

• As a defender you need to kill the penance runner by catching them in the traps

• As a healer you must heal other people and kill the penance healers with poisoned food

• As a collector you must collect the eggs and load them into the hopper

• Once you get to the queen (wave 10) you should ask an experienced player what to do

Step 7: Now you need to do some quests! I find quests can be fun as they are never repetitive! I recommend using a Runescape help site such as runehq.com or tip.it/runescape as otherwise some quests will seem almost impossible, especially monkey madness and fremenik trials!

Here is a rundown of all the quests I recommend you doing and the requirements/difficulty/length:

Lost city:

Difficulty: Experienced

Length: Medium

Quest Requirements:

None

Skill/Other Requirements:

31 Crafting

36 Woodcutting

Must be able to kill a level 101 spirit.

Monkey Madness:

Difficulty: Master

Length: Very Long

Quest Requirements:

Grand Tree, The

Tree Gnome Village

Skill/Other Requirements:

43 Prayer is highly recommended. Must be able to defeat a Level 195 Demon.

The fremenik trials:

Difficulty: Intermediate

Length: Long

Quest Requirements:

None

Skill/Other Requirements:

25 Fletching

40 Crafting

40 Woodcutting

Be able to defeat level 69 enemies

Be prepared to fight without any armour or weapons.

Step 8: Now you need to make some more cash! There's a quick way which makes a small amount of cash, or a slower way which can make you loads of cash in the long run

First method: picking flax under seer's village.

This is the quick way to make yourself just about enough money to buy the outfit you need. First of all you need to teleport to Camelot using runes or a teleport tab. Once you are there bank all of your armour and bring out any weight reducing armour (boots of lightness, spottier cape). This is very simple and you only need to pick 5k flax for 550k. I recommend botting! You can pay doogie123 to do this part for you haha! Back to business. Just walk south to the fields, and pick a full inv of flax, then walk back to the bank! Its so easy!

Second method: Hunting

This is slightly slower at first, but will make you tonnes of cash if you work on it for a while. This needs quite a lot of patience. These are the steps you need to take when training you hunter:

Teleport to castle wars using a duelling ring. Then walk to the hunter shop in Yanille. Buy 10 bird snares and 10 box traps.

Now walk south to the beached area where you will see lots of crimson birds flying around, set out your bird snare and catch these.

When you have reached level 20 hunter, you need to walk west to the tropical wagtails catch these.

When you have reached 63 hunter you can catch red chinchompers. These are where the money is and you should catch these until you have sufficient cash!

Step 9: Putting together your new outfit! You should wear:

• Berserker helmet

• Fighter torso

• Rune platelegs

• Rune boots

• Combat bracelet or RFD gloves

• Berserker ring or ring of wealth

• Amulet of fury/glory/strength

• Dragon scimitar/Dragon longsword/Dragon dagger (p++)

• Rune defender

• Fire cape, but to be honest any cape will do

Step 10: Now you are going to go to your final training spots. There is a choice of two and both have positives and negatives. I personally mix and match between both of them depending on my mood, but you can choose how you do this. You should wear something like to outfit I posted above as this will give you good defence bonuses.

First training method: Moss giants (level 42)

Positives: Makes about 100k per hour, good exp rate, increases hitpoints while training strength

Negatives: Forces you to use food (time and money), slower exp than other method, can be crowded

First you need to get to them. I would recommend using your combat bracelet to teleport you to ranging guild. You can also get there by teleporting to Camelot and walking south.

You will also need to take lobsters; therefore you have the need to bank. You should take a full inventory of lobsters each time as this will obviously save the number of times you need to bank. Also you need to bank your loot. You should loot everything worth 5k+ as it all adds up and I can normally make over 600k a day. Of the 600k, normally 350k is ranarr seeds/herbs and you do get the odd snapdragon seed. Here is the most efficient banking spot:

Second training method: Soul wars

Positives: VERY fast exp, easy minigame (can afk)

Negatives: Have to spend separate exp on strength and hitpoints, will get very boring

First of all you must get to it. It's very simple; you just have to follow this map:

Once inside you have 3 choices, you can either join the blue team, the red team, or go into the green portal which puts you into a random one. I would highly recommend going into a soul wars clan chat such as 1 zeal blows or mmsyther which call either blue or red, and that team normally wins. There are always people advertising various clan chats, so you will always be able to find one.

The easiest way to stay active is to run from there, following the arrow into the fenced area. Pick up some bandages from the table and use them on people when their hitpoints are low.

Exp rates and killing amounts:

Seagulls (6k per hour average):

1-40 attack = 1551 seagulls

1-40 strength = 1551 seagulls

1-20 def = 187 seagulls

Total = 3289 seagulls

Rock crabs (20k per hour average):

40-60 attack = 1183 rock crabs

40-70 strength = 3503 rock crabs

20-45 def = 286 rock crabs

Total = 4972 rock crabs

Moss giants (30k per hour average):

60-70 attack = 1933 moss giants

70-99 strength = 51237 moss giants

Total = 53170 moss giants

Soul wars (6 zeal per hour average):

60-70 attack = 200 zeal

70-99 strength = 1700 zeal

60-95 hitpoints = 1400 zeal

Total = 3300 zeal
