RuneScape:Lumbridge Achievement Diary Beginner Tasks Guide

David Farrell
The Lumbridge Achievement Diary consists of tasks done in the Lumbridge-Draynor area of RuneScape. Lumbridge Achievement Diary is different from the other achievement diaries in that it is divided into beginner, easy, and medium tasks and is available for both F2P and members. There are instructions on how to accomplish the unfinished beginner and easy tasks, but the instructions for each separate task direct the RuneScape player from the respawn point in Lumbridge rather than from the previous task. Lumbridge achievement beginner tasks can be done in any order, but place utility saves time. Here is one order of completion.

Bring any pickaxe, bucket of water, grain (can be picked from field SW of windmill,) and a small fishing net. 20 gold is needed if Prince Ali Rescue quest is not completed.

From the respawn point, head into the castle and climb up one flight of stairs to speak with the Duke. Climb up another flight of stairs then up the ladder in the middle. Raise the flag. This completes three Lumbridge Achievement Diary beginners' tasks. Return to respawn point.

Talk to the Lumbridge Sage and talk to the Doomsayer about warnings. (This is an opportunity to toggle off/on any warnings that can be toggled.) Continue east and pass through the gate to Al Kharid. This completes three more Lumbridge Achievement Diary beginners' tasks.

Retrace back to the Lumbridge Sage and head south to the church. Speak to Fr, Aereck about gravestones. (Now is a good time to claim the five ancient bones that were added to the reward for the Restless Ghost quest. Burying each bone grants 200 prayer experience.) Play the organ, climb the ladders, and ring the church bell. Three more Lumbridge Achievement Diary beginners' tasks are thus completed.

Go south through the cemetery into the swamp. Catch a raw shrimp and mine a copper rock. Save the shrimp for later. Return to Lumbridge and trade the shopkeeper or assistant at the general store. Head north and visit Farmer Fred's farm. Pick grain and climb to the top of the windmill to make flour. Take the pot from the shelf on the bottom floor and use it to collect the flour. Head north up through the cow pasture and cross the river. Mine a clay, then head back. This completes six more Lumbridge Achievement Diary beginners' tasks.

Exit the pasture and head west to intersect the path to Draynor Manor. Head north and enter the courtyard. Follow the road south then west to reach the pottery shop. Wet the clay, make a pot, and fire the pot in the pottery oven. Exit to the west then south of the buildings to enter the market. Ask the town crier about the rules. Six more Lumbridge Achievement Diary beginners' tasks are thus completed.

Follow the road east and south past the bank across the water then climb to the top of the wizard's tower. Backtrack and turn east, follow the dirt path to the fishing shop. Sell the raw shrimp to the fishing store, finishing the remaining two Lumbridge Achievement Diary beginners' tasks. The Lumbridge Achievement Diary being complete, talk to Explorer Jack for the reward.

Rewards for the Lumbridge Achievement Diary beginners' tasks are Explorer's Ring 1 (50% run restore daily,) the "explore" emote, and an antique lamp that grants 500 experience in the chosen skill.
